Yeah, so what, I haven't been on here in over a month. Like anyone is really looking at my page. I think I just lost interest in this whole thing anyways. My life has changed a lil since I last was on here. I've got steady hours at the daycare (9-6) but not a steady schedule except for 4-6 on Mon and Wed and 2-2:30 M-F. The rest of the time I just go in, hope my boss is in a good mood and ask her where she wants me to go. One day I asked her and apparently her blood sugar was low and she kinda went off on me. She was all like "I don't know anything right now. My blood sugar is low. When I get myself together I'll come find you!" SERIOUSLY! She had me pissed off. I swear she is gonna do that to the wrong person one day and they are gonna go off on her and take it to her superior, whomever that is. Who knows. She might piss me off enough that I will go off on her ass and she wont know where it came from!

Anyways...I only had to work 9-4 today since Metro Schools were closed. The daycare was only open 8-4. I had to work with the two-year olds and there was a new start in there. He cried FOREVER! "T" finally came in there around 11:45 and she was able to calm him and he fell asleep in her arms. Thank the lord I am only gonna be in there for 30 minutes tomorrow giving breaks. I'm gonna be working for Lil Dina since she has to take her mom to the doctor. I hope all goes well with that:)

Well, there! I have spoken again on Xanga. Maybe next time it wont take me a month to get back on here:)

Yeah, I'm a slacker when it comes to my xanga page. To be honest, I'm not really into letting the entire world know my thoughts and feelings. So hopefully the only people who see my xanga are the people I work with that have a xanga too.

Anyways....I got to see the Dave Matthews Band on Wednesday night with a friend of mine and they ROCKED!!!! It took us an hour to get from Bell Road to Starwood and when we got in is right when they took the stage. As long as I didnt miss them I was cool. They played a good mix of their new and old stuff which was cool. It was definitely worth the traffic and $50 it cost for the ticket to the show. Something weird happened while we were watching the show. A guy came up to me and was all like, "I got forty bucks and need a good buzz.. You wouldn't happen to have some ecstasy or shrooms would ya?" COME ON! DO I LOOK LIKE I DO DRUGS? Okay, so I am skinny but not HEROIN CHICK SKINNY!!!!!!!!! I just looked at him, smiled and said sorry. Now if he was wanting pot i coulda pointed him in the right direction due to the constant smell of it. I told my friend that we would be going home smelling like pot, cigarettes and beer. And the only thing we were doing was drinking beer. Go figure.

Yay for the new CD player I have in my car. It rocks!!!! I was gonna go crazy without music playing in my ears everywhere I went...Speaking of music, I went and saw my friend's band last night. They were supposed to go on at 10:30 or so but the evening was filled with drama before I got there at around 9:30. The singer was pulling in and a lady decided to go around him at the same time he was turning and hit his car. They called the cops but I guess the lady got tired of waiting around so she was all like "I'm gonna leave." The drummer was in front of her car trying to keep her there but the PSYCHO lady decided to go on and take off. Nate, the drummer, could only grab hold of the hood and hang on. The owner of the bar followed em and cops were out to get her. She drove, with him on the hood, all the way over the Shelby Street bridge in east nashville to god knows where before she was stopped. Nate was okay. They had to go downtown and do night court real quick. Her bail was set at $30,000. So I am sure she probably spent the night in jail. Anyways, the band went on around 12:30 and they were good. I'm glad I stuck around to hear them:) Hopefully next time things like that wont happen.

Last Saturday I went to Charisse and Jason's wedding in Memphis. The ride to Memphis is a BORING one but we were able to keep it fun by talking about different things, some random things, some intellectual:) Her wedding was nice and simple, nothing fancy but it did have her lil touches here and there. The reception was really nice. It was held at the Botanic Garden. She had a DJ and a dance floor, which I told her I would not step foot on. I lied. I got out there and did the Cha Cha Slide with her and danced to some other stuff as well. It was all fun and you could tell the two of them were so happy. Jason's face lit up the minute the doors of the church opened and Charisse began to walk down the aisle.

It seems like all of my friends are going off and getting married. Two more of my friends are getting married within the next year and a half. I don't think I could see myself getting married at a young age. I'm only 23 and I have yet to figure out men. They do nothing but confuse me 99.9% of the time. So yeah, I'm single and I don't mind it, but there are also times where it would be nice to have someone. I don't ddwell on being single, I go out and have fun with my friends. If someone should come along the way that would be great but I am not going to go out and look for them.

Enough of that...Earlier this week a co-worker of mine said I reminded her of a hippie. I didn't take that as a bad thing and she didnt mean it as one either. Not that I dress like a hippie or anything, I think my laid back personality and tastes set her to say that. She saw that I was reading the Jimmy Buffet book, "A Pirate Looks at Fifty", and asked me about it. We got into talking about music and all. I told her I have always felt that I should have been born in the 60s. Don't get me wrong, I love the fact that I was a product of the 80s, but I always find myself intrigued by things that occurred back in the 60s and 70s, especially the music. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the Allman Brothers. They are by far my all time favorite musicians, group, etc and they hit it big back then.

As far as music goes I take after my dad in lots of ways. I grew up listening to what he listened to, artists like the Allman Bros, Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, BB King, ya know, all those guitarists from back in the day. I like the Allman Bros Band cause they weren't your typical Southern Rock band as a lot of people like to call them, they were more of a blues band with an awesome singer (Gregg Allman) and his brother, a genius on the guitar (Duane Allman). If it weren't for him, Eric Clapton's song Layla might not have been the hit it was back then.

So there ya go, something you might not have known about me even if you've known me a while is I love good music and I should have been born in the 60s:) Music just isn't like what it was back then. I mean, there are some great new artists out there that I like and who I see as having potential. Gotta jet!More to come later.
